Shrlock LLC (“Shrlock,” “we,” “our,” or “us”) operates the Shrlock website and platform, which provides software tools for HR consultants to build and manage client relationships.

When you use Shrlock as part of a team account, the primary account holder may provide personal information about additional users in their workspace (such as names and email addresses). By adding team members, the account holder confirms they have the right to provide this information to Shrlock. Team members are also subject to this Privacy Policy.

Client & Staff Information

As part of the Service, account holders and their team members may upload or store personal information about their own clients, client contacts, and client staff members (collectively, “Client Data”).

  • User Responsibility: The account holder is solely responsible for obtaining all necessary rights and consents before entering Client Data into the Service. By submitting Client Data, you confirm that you have the legal authority to collect, use, and share that information with Shrlock.
  • Shrlock’s Role: Shrlock processes Client Data only to provide and improve the Service, in accordance with your instructions. We do not sell Client Data or use it for any purpose other than operating the Service.
  • Data Sharing: Client Data entered into a team workspace may be visible to other authorized users within that workspace, depending on the permissions set by the account holder.
  • Retention: Client Data will be retained for as long as the associated account is active, and deleted or deactivated upon termination, subject to applicable legal requirements.

Log Data

Whenever you visit our Service, we collect information that your browser sends to us (“Log Data”). This may include your computer’s Internet Protocol (“IP”) address, browser version, the pages of our Service that you visit, the time and date of your visit, the time spent on those pages, and other statistics.

Team Accounts

If you use Shrlock as part of a team or multi-user account, the following applies:

  • The primary account holder is responsible for billing, managing user permissions, and determining access to the workspace.
  • Information entered into a shared workspace (such as client records, notes, or contact information) may be visible to other authorized users in that workspace, depending on the permissions set by the primary account holder.
  • The primary account holder is responsible for ensuring that all team members comply with this Privacy Policy and our Terms of Service.
  • Shrlock is not responsible for the use or disclosure of information by other users within the same workspace.

Security

We value your trust in providing us your personal information and Client Data, and we use commercially acceptable means to protect it. However, no method of transmission over the internet or method of electronic storage is 100% secure. While we strive to use appropriate safeguards, we cannot guarantee absolute security.

Data Retention

We retain personal information and Client Data for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the Service. If a team account is canceled or terminated, all associated team member access will also end. Data will be deleted or deactivated in accordance with our data retention practices, except where we are required by law to retain it longer.

Our Service may contain links to external sites not operated by us. If you click a third-party link, you will be directed to that site. We strongly advise you to review the Privacy Policy of those websites.
