Where They Started

Future came to Shrlock with more than 13 years of HR experience and hundreds of business owner relationships behind her. She knew how to solve HR problems for small businesses. She was ready to stop doing that work for someone else and start doing it under her own name.

What she didn’t have yet was a business that looked the part. Her LinkedIn presented her as an HR leader open to her next role, and her website didn't accurately reflect her unique expertise or give business owners a clear path for getting started.

Next, Shrlock developed an interactive lead magnet, the DIY HR Cost Calculator. In about two minutes, a business owner enters their headcount, checks off the HR tasks on their plate, and sees how many hours HR is costing them each week and what that time is worth in dollars.

Finally, Shrlock built an automated outreach system that connects Future with 20 business owners per day. It puts her positioning in front of the right audience daily without adding hours to her week.

Future signed with Shrlock on September 9. By September 29, her positioning, website, LinkedIn profile, lead magnet, and outreach system were all live.
